Ayodhya

OK..there was Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Then the Muslim rulers came , destroyed the temple and built a mosque.Centuries later the politically savvy Hindutva guys got interested and realized something is wrong and of course.. they bought the Masjid down

hmmmmm....interesting...now what is the situation...a freaking disputed land...

So what can be done...is there any solution at all...obviously no political party will ever be strong enough to have only a temple built there....that would basically mean the end of Muslim vote for them in the country's most populated state.I doubt if any party will even be able to just pander to the Muslims and build just the Mosque..end result...deadlock..

Now i dont know much about history of who is the right full owner of the place ( yes yes.. i do know some history and mythology and the Ramayana..if you get the drift)... and the political implications of what should be done by parties to achieve their votes...

But how about this....we could think about looking into the future...How about declaring the entire site as a national heritage site..and then go ahead and build a grand Hindu temple...a grand Mosque...a grand Gurudwara....a grand Buddhist temple... a beautiful Jain temple...a Church.. and any other religion that i may have missed which is present in this beautiful country of ours...

Just imagine..all these structures co-existing and becoming a hot tourist destination and generating revenues thereby improving the economic situation of the region and most importantly of the people by generating jobs. After all, na baap na bhaiya, na Ram na Allah..but sabse bada rupaiya..

Our media fortunately does give us good news from time to time and we know of situations and places in our country where Hindus and Muslims co-exist peacefully, celebrate each others festivals with equal vigor. If we know there are such communities , there is no reason why the same cant be replicated at Ayodhya, that too at a much larger scale.

For all the naysayers....yes Ram Bhagwan was born there and its a sacred Hindu pilgrimage site..yes you might say will any hard line Islamic country ever even think of allowing such kind of things in their holy lands...

But please...we are not these tyrant countries. We have a diversity unmatched anywhere in this world and we should be proud of it as Indians alike and think of exploring ideas and opportunities where the people of India as a whole can benefit uplifting many from poverty and building a sense of brotherhood amongst all the different religions, castes and creed and what not..

Lets be Indians first and last...and look for solutions and not just point and blame and lets not play the political game... what say!!
