Profiteering at the End of the Line

Clinging to a name thats left to remember
A shop left open without an owner
Busies itself with the market outside
Straining to lower down the volume
Of the tune
Of the good luck of the
misfortune
Betrayed only by the coughed out laughter
Sells open books of lies
Souvenirs go out at a discount
Covering the losses by deepening the cuts
And draining the blood bank account dry
To buy a catalogue of excuses in return
To counter every insult thrown
Piles of files of
Burden of lies
Debt which no insurance can cover
See some bets being placed in the market
Odds that are going in favor
Waiting
For the shop to go under
