Escaping

Tunnels too many on offer
Recoiling and choking
Can recoil no further
Faces were once calling
Was good your whistling
Only their drowning
Humming to the horizon
Nothings being the only somethings
Exclamation masking the question
Intensity of your vanity
LHS of depression and RHS of inspiration
Fighting for equality
The mirror feeds on reflection
Stranger strangering at the stranger
Taking turns on solipsistic sufferings
Tunnels in the background
The mirror wants to break down

  1. I feel like I can make some sense of this poem... I think you start on point when you talk about escaping but towards the middle and end you take a tangent... If im not wrong the mirror analogy talks about how every escape is a life of the same hell which leads to a passge of tunnels into similar escapes... maybe if you stick to a strict scope it will help... just my two cents... nice work!
