Success, when perceived from the point of view of others is always relative, but when perceived only in relation with oneself, could and most probably should be considered absolute.

Completely agree. Success is absolute... go back to John Galts speech... A is A... existence exists... and I beieve its a corollary that mans success is an absolute... it is the personification of his existence.
